2024: At the June 2024 meeting of the Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont, the Springfield Garden Club received the following state awards:

2021: On July 20, 2021 the Federated Garden Club of Vermont held its Eighty-third annual meeting in Burlington, VT. Our club won all of the awards that Karen Vatne, our awards chairperson so skillfully applied for. These awards include: A Certificate of Merit for the Blue Star Memorial Bench Project, Certificate of Merit for an Environmental Education Program, Certificate of Merit for Planting Town Window Boxes and Planters, Certificate of Merit for Club Newsletter, Certificate of Merit for Club Yearbook, Landscape Award Given to Claremont Savings Bank (Business Award). 2020: The Springfield Garden Club has earned four awards and two honorable mentions this summer from The Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont for Civic Beautification, the Golden Trowel Award, the 2019 annual yearbook publication, Conservation of Natural Resources, the Environmental Education program “Growing Plants to Support the Birds and the Bees”, and for the gardens at Claremont Savings Bank. 2018: At the Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont Annual Meeting on June 4 2018, held at Hildene in Manchester, VT, the Springfield Garden Club was recognized with four awards. One was for its ongoing work in Civic Beautification. For over 20 years, the Springfield Garden Club has worked with the staff and clients of Adult Day Care to maintain its Patio Garden, which also won an award for "best ongoing project with merit.". In addition, Springfield’s annual publication of its yearbook was recognized for the quality and clarity of its presentation. Annually, the Federated Garden Clubs of VT awards a “Golden Trowel” to deserving members who are nominated by local clubs. This year, Elaine Pomeroy was nominated for this honor.
