SPRINGFIELD, VERMONT GARDEN CLUB IS MORE THAN 100 YEARS OLD!

A brief history of the Springfield Garden Club [pdf].

 

The Club's purpose is to provide a social framework for education and community service in the areas of gardening, beautification and conservation and to co-ordinate the activities of the club with those of The Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont in order to advance our mutual aims.

Activities are monthly meetings (educational and social), civic beautification, community service, field trips, monthly newsletter and Festival of Trees annual fundraising event.

The Club supports diversity with 68 female members and 3 male members, so grab your sister, your best friend or your significant other and join today. "It's a great organization and we have alot of fun while contributing to the community", stated Past President Carolyn Lane.

 

The current officers are President Therese Burton, Secretary (Summer) Carol Eramo, Secretary (Winter) Cindy Bouruet, Treasurer Barbara Riotte and Membership Chair Cheryl Pierce.
