The Club's purpose is to provide a social framework for education and community service in the areas of gardening, beautification and conservation and to co-ordinate the activities of the club with those of the Federated Garden Club of Vermont in order to advance our mutual aims.
Activities are monthly meetings (educational and social), civic beautification, community service, field trips, monthly newsletter and Festival of Trees annual fundraising event.
The Club supports diversity with 67 female members and four male members (as of May 2017), so grab your sister, your best friend or your significant other and join today. "It's a great organization and we have alot of fun while contributing to the community," stated President, Carolyn Lane.
The current slate of officers is: President Carolyn Lane, Vice President Deanna Dexter, Co-Secretaries Carol Eramo and Jocelyn Zezza, Treasurer Barbara Riotte and Membership Chair Barbara Lacey.
There are two membership categories: Active Member ($25) or Supportive Member ($30). An active member participates in three activities each year. A supportive member may participate in as many projects of their choosing but does not have voting privileges. We look forward to meeting you soon.
